How to disable Autorun in Windows XP to prevent virus infection?

In Windows click "Start", then click "Run"

Type "regedit" click "OK"
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom
Change DWAORD value of "Autorun" to 0 (default is 1)
Click OK.
Reboot.
